Professorial standby
I don't teach on Mondays, but I had a few advising meetings, so I needed to be on campus. I went with an old standby look for academics: button down shirt, cashmere sweater, jeans, and a blazer. The jeans and button down shirt are from Ebay. My cashmere sweater is from the J Crew via the Salvation Army (only $1.99!). The blazer is from a consignment store, as are my boots (previously worn here). So I am 100% "new to me" today.

Please excuse the messy desk. I do clean it before I leave each night.....but haven't done so yet tonight.

I love the blazer!
I'm not sure you know what a messy desk is, though.... Mine in its current state would make yours look like the epitome of cleanliness and organization.
Haha. Obviously you haven't seen my office. I did jeans and a blazer too today, must be something in the air.
Your office looks very clean and well organized. I'm a wee bit jealous of your shiny pretty desk.
Also, I love a burgundy blazer. You styled it really well with these jeans and the high necked top. Good stuff.
