Today I tried the knee high socks and knee high boots look that I have been seeing all over the place.
I'm not sure it is the look for me. I was very excited to wear this "new to me" Abercrombie tan corduroy skirt I got at Goodwill. It just feels like a Fall basic. This is once again an almost all Goodwill outfit. The burgundy with white polka dots Johny collar style shirt and black Banana Republic sweater also came from Goodwill. (P.S. This is what I wore yesterday, but I was on campus till after midnight, so didn't get to post till today.)

It works better if you have cat socks, I find. Or peacock socks.
Not diggin it. Maybe with dark socks...my fashionista friend S. says a similar-coloured knee sock with a mid-calf boot will extend the leg so it does not look like the boots are stumpifying the leg. Or something like that. I am not sure she used the word stumpify, that's probably just me :).
