the joy of giftcards

For Christmas I scored a few Talbots giftcards.  And since Charlotte has a Talbots outlet, the money will go far.  I couldn't wait to check out what my giftcards could get me....and I already used half of them.  I will reveal over the next few weeks, but today's outfit is a preview:

I got this denim pencil skirt for $10.  I have been looking for a denim pencil skirt for awhile now, so it was an exciting find.  Originally $60.....gotta love the Talbots outlet prices.  This sweater is a wool, acrylic cashmere blend from Ann Taylor Loft via Goodwill.  I bought this sweater as I thought it would be a great casual, weekend get-away sweater.  Very ski lodge-esq.  But I guess I don't go on weekend getaways, as it has stayed in my closet unworn for far too long.
