It was a friend's birthday party last night, which I used as an excuse to wear this blue dress that I got at a consignment store this summer while in Canada. It also gave me an excuse to bust out these shoes:
I almost wore these to work last week, as they are actually comfy and give me some decent height for reaching the chalkboard, but I ultimately decided they are too sexy for a university classroom. But they sure are fun for a weekend party!

I don't think those shoes are too sexy to teach in! I'd wear them when I teach, if I were lucky enough to own them. :)
Ditto Brooke! I don't think they're too sexy at all. I wear "sexy" shoes to school/teach all the time. For ex, wore the JCrew Cadens last week.
I like those shoes.
I would wear them with black tights.....and I think they would be more "classroom appropiate"
