work and play
Okay, I am actually listing the "play" first. It has been ridiculously hot here. Highs in the 90s, and lows at night staying in the 70s. So yesterday (Sunday) to beat the heat I wore a very summery dress out to brunch. Looking at the pictures, I am thinking it is not the most flattering silhouette, but it was very light and breezey in the heat.
Today is back to work. I am moving offices, so I decided my normal skirt or dress look would not be practical. Even though one of the guys will be moving the big things, I will still be doing more than my standard sitting at my desk. The capris and t-shirt are both from Goodwill.

Aw, your summer dress is so beautiful. I think, although it's not a super-defined silhouette, it has just the right amount of summer breeziness and is gorgeous for that reason.
I love the patterned top, and you could always throw on a belt and give the summer dress a bit more shape!
