Stepford wife

I feel very much like a stepford wife in this outfit.  Not sure if it is the pearls or the cardigan and the delicate heels.  But I like it despite the costume feel.

Don't mind my little doggie in the foreground.  The dress is from Ross.  The shoes are from Marshall's and the cardigan is from the Talbot's outlet.  Pretty much all discount shopping options.

new or old?

Not sure if I should call this dress new or old.  I have had it for multiple years, but I am not sure I have ever worn it.  But I have thought of a ton of different ways to wear it, no not sure why I never do.  It is comfy too!

The dress is from the Talbot's Outlet.  I got the shoes on clearance at Marshalls.  The cardigan is Ann Taylor silk via Goodwill, and the belt is a random Goodwill find.

I don't normally wear shorts to work.  But it is hot, and a friday in summer.....who would give a care?

A little behind, as this is yesterdays outfit.  Still hot here, like pretty much most of the country....so easy dresses and sandals are the work uniform.

Like the rest of the country it is hot here, so I went with a simple and cool dress yesterday.
